Shipping & Returns

Orders ship from our location Monday-Friday within 24 hours of receipt of the order unless indicated otherwise on the product page. Orders placed over the weekend will ship from our location the following business day. We are closed and orders will not ship on New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the Friday after, and from Christmas Eve through New Year's Day.

SHIPPING OPTIONS & COST: You will be given an opportunity at checkout to choose from a variety of UPS and USPS services. Actual shipping costs are calculated based on the weight of the items you are shipping, the service you are using, and the location to which you are shipping. PLEASE BE ADVISED: USPS services do not provide guaranteed delivery dates, but USPS does deliver on Saturdays. UPS services do not deliver on Saturdays and do not count Saturdays or Sundays in the shipping days calculation. The number of shipping days also does not include the day on which a package is shipped.

RUSH ORDERS: You must select the appropriate shipping method for your package to arrive on-time. Please refer to the UPS and USPS information below. Be sure to calculate BUSINESS DAYS ONLY (M-F) when calculating when your package will arrive. If you are unsure of when your package will ship out or arrive please contact us for assistance 866-746-5133. Orders ship from our office in Boerne, TX.

ADVANCE ORDERS: If you are placing an advance order (two weeks in advance or more) please select the option "HOLD for Future Delivery Date" during the checkout process and indicate the date you would like the package to arrive in the FUTURE DELIVERY DATE box or provide more information in the Comment box during checkout. Orders ship from our office warehouse in Boerne, TX.


1) SCHEDULE PACKAGES TO ARRIVE EARLY It is nice to receive a surprise on your birthday or on the exact date of a holiday, however most people would rather receive a package a day early than a day late. Scheduling a package to arrive early allows for the unknown such as unexpected delays in-transit, failed delivery because the recipient was not home, etc.

2) CHECK THE USPS AND UPS INFO BELOW before choosing your shipping method. When in doubt (before or after you've placed your order) call us at 866-746-5133. We are available M-F from 9-5 CST and we're good at checking our voicemail...so feel free to leave us a message during non-office hours.


When shipping to a summer camp please keep in mind that most camps deliver care packages to campers at MAIL CALL only. MAIL CALL may take place the DAY AFTER your package was delivered depending upon the camp and the time they receive their deliveries. It is best to select a shipping method that will get your package to the camp the DAY BEFORE you want it to be delivered. You may notify us in the Comment box during checkout if you'd like us to add a note to the top of the shipping box (via a sticker) to make the camp director aware of your desired delivery date. MAIL / PACKAGE ROOM: Many colleges have a mail room which receives student packages. These mail rooms receive the package on the day you indicate you want the package to be delivered. Often the student is notified that they have a package waiting THE NEXT DAY. The student may not pick up the package until 2 DAYS AFTER it was delivered (or more). Schedule your package to arrive EARLY. Although it's not required, it's not a bad idea to notify the student that a package is coming their way so that they can look out for a slip or email from the mail room or inquire with the mail room if they have not received the package. This will not spoil their surprise, but rather help to build excitement and anticipation of something coming their way. Oh yeah...and it will help to ensure that they actually receive the package.

CAMPUS ADDRESSES: Check with Housing, Residence Life, or Student Affairs to make sure your shipping address is formatted correctly. Sometimes a dorm name and number is required (we cannot obtain this for you), other times a campus box number. In almost all cases, we must have a physical street address in order to ship via UPS. Campus Box Numbers do not always work in the same way regular PO Boxes work....in most cases packages may be delivered to a campus box number via UPS if a street address is included in the shipping address.

5) Military Shipping: APO & FPO Addresses

When placing your APO/FPO order, enter the recipient's full name and address in the relevant fields. Enter APO or FPO in the City field. Select Armed Forces Other Areas (AE) for the State field if the recipient is stationed in Europe, Canada, Africa, or the Middle East. Select Armed Forces America (AA) if the recipient is stationed in the Americas. Select Armed Forces Pacific (AP) if the recipient is stationed in Asia or the Pacific. Regardless of where the recipient is stationed, select United States from the Country drop-down menu. Please enter your own telephone number in the shipping telephone number blank. All shipments to APO/FPO addresses are sent US Priority Mail. Please select USPS as your carrier, and Priority Mail as your shipping method.

According to the Military Postal Service Agency, depending on where the service member is located, Priority Mail parcels can take up to 10 to 15 days. Transit times will vary depending on operational conditions and the unit of the recipient.

Tracking is not available for APO/FPO packages. If after two months you believe your package was not received, please notify us so that we may file a claim with USPS. USPS will research the package at that time and issue a refund if they cannot locate the package.

6) Canadian & International Shipping

Due to international tariffs and taxes often levied upon the gift recipient, Beyond Bookmarks does not ship to Canada or International locations. In certain circumstances we may make an exception. Please contact us if you would like to make special arrangements. 866-746-5133 M-F 9-5 CST.

  • UPS Next Day Air®: Next business day delivery by 10:30 a.m., 12:00 noon, or end of day, depending on destination. Destinations and Origins: All 50 states and Puerto Rico, with some limitations in Alaska and Hawaii. Example: if your order ships out on Thursday it will be delivered on Friday by 10:30 am to most areas.

  • UPS Next Day Air Saver®: Commercial Destinations: Next business day delivery by 3:00 or 4:30 p.m. where UPS Next Day Air® delivery is committed by 10:30 a.m. or 12:00 noon, respectively. Residential Destinations: Next business day delivery by end of day. Destinations: Available to the 48 contiguous states. Not available to destinations where UPS Next Day Air delivery is committed by end of day. Example: if your order ships out on Thursday it will be delivered on Friday by 3pm to most areas.

  • UPS 2nd Day Air®: Delivery by the end of the second business day. Some locations in Alaska and Hawaii require additional transit time. Service Area Destinations and Origins: All 50 states and Puerto Rico, with some limitations in Alaska and Hawaii. Example: if your order ships out on Thursday it will be delivered by the end of the day on Monday.

  • UPS 3 Day Select®: Delivery by the end of the third business day. Service Area Destinations and Origins: The 48 contiguous states. Example: if your order ships out on Thursday it will be delivered by the end of the day on Tuesday.


  • Delivery Monday-Friday to residential and commercial US addresses. See map for estimated time-in-transit. Please use BUSINESS DAYS (M-F) only when calculating delivery date. The number of days does not include the day that the package is shipped. Delivery is by the end of the business day.

    UPS Delivery Zones & Times


  • USPS Priority Mail: This service typically takes between 2-3 business days (not counting the day of shipment) and delivers on Saturday for no extra charge. Example: if your order ships out on Thursday, your order will be received by Saturday or Monday. However, Priority Mail service is NOT GUARANTEED to arrive within 2-3 days and offers less reliable tracking than UPS. All orders with APO/FPO addresses are shipped via USPS Priority Mail.

  • USPS Express Mail: Service typically takes between 1-2 business days (not counting the day of shipment) and delivers on Saturday for no extra charge. Example: if your order ships out on Thursday, your order will be received by Friday or Saturday. However, Express Mail service is NOT GUARANTEED to arrive within 1 day.

Returns & Undeliverable Packages Policy

We guarantee our packages. If you or the recipient are unsatisfied please contact us within 5 business days of delivery or expected delivery to discuss replacement or refund. All refunded or replaced packages must be returned to Beyond Bookmarks within 15 days of delivery. Please call us before you return your package. 866-746-5133

Packages are shipped via UPS or USPS. You will receive email notification by one of these companies with your package tracking information. In the unlikelihood that a package is lost, the customer is not available to receive the package, or the package is refused, UPS or USPS will send an email notification to you. In addition, Beyond Bookmarks makes every effort during the initial delivery process to notify the sender when a package is deemed undeliverable. Ultimately it is the responsibility of the customer to notify Beyond Bookmarks within 5 days of expected delivery regarding the handling of the lost or returned package.

Returned packages will be held by Beyond Bookmarks for 5 business days. Upon notification from the customer within (or before) the 5 day period, we will reship the package at the expense of the customer or we will refund the cost of the package minus shipping. A 15% restocking may be assessed for packages containing food or items opened or damaged by recipient. In the case that the customer does not contact Beyond Bookmarks within the 5 day period, no refund will be issued.

Packages re-directed by UPS due to an incomplete or incorrect address may incur a $16 fee. Please verify your shipping address and be sure to include apartment numbers or building names where appropriate.

Care Pack Club Cancellation Policy: In the case that you wish to cancel your Club order before all the Packs in your plan have been delivered we will regard the orders previously shipped as normal, full price orders. You will only be refunded the original total less the full Pack cost plus shipping for each Pack that has already shipped. Club plans are designed to offer a bulk discount on the purchase of multiple Packs. Sold individually, the Packs range in price.

Item Swapping: Beyond Bookmarks reserves the right to replace items in our care packages with comparable items based on season and availability. For example, we can't ship chocolate in the summer...it melts...yuck!

Sales Tax: Texas State Sales Tax will be charged on gifts delivered within the state of Texas.

Price Changes: Prices subject to change without notice (but probably not that often).
