Item swapping and Special Needs
Beyond Bookmarks reserves the right to replace items in our care packages with comparable items based on season and availability. We can't ship chocolate in the summer…it melts…yuck!

Beyond Bookmarks is happy to accommodate special needs (diabetic, non dairy, wheat free, etc.) to the best of our ability. We cannot guarantee that all items included in the package will be suitable for the recipient’s special needs (but we’ll try!). We will need some extra time to gather the goods. Please order in advance.

Sales Tax
Texas State Sales Tax will be charged on gifts delivered within the state of Texas.

Returns & Undeliverable Packages Policy
We guarantee our packages. If you or the recipient are unsatisfied please contact us within 5 business days of delivery or expected delivery to discuss replacement or refund. All refunded or replaced packages must be returned to Beyond Bookmarks within 15 days of delivery. Please call us before you return your package. 866.746.5133

Packages are shipped via UPS or USPS. You will receive email notification by one of these companies with your package tracking information. In the unlikelihood that a package is lost, the customer is not available to receive the package, or the package is refused, UPS or USPS will send an email notification to you. In addition, Beyond Bookmarks makes every effort during the initial delivery process to notify the sender when a package is deemed undeliverable. Ultimately it is the responsibility of the customer to notify Beyond Bookmarks within 5 days of expected delivery regarding the handling of the lost or returned package.

Returned packages will be held by Beyond Bookmarks for 5 business days. Upon notification from the customer within (or before) the 5 day period, we will reship the package at the expense of the customer or we will refund the cost of the package minus shipping. A 15% restocking may be assessed for packages containing food or items opened or damaged by recipient. In the case that the customer does not contact Beyond Bookmarks within the 5 day period, no refund will be issued.

Packages re-directed by UPS due to an incomplete or incorrect address may incur a $10 fee.  Please verify your shipping address and be sure to include apartment numbers or building names where appropriate.

Tracking for Military Packages (APO/FPO)
USPS does not provide immediate tracking options for packages shipped to APO/FPO addresses. USPS will track military packages upon request. We will be happy to initiate this request on your behalf. It will take the post office a minimum of two weeks (but more likely four weeks) for a reply. We add insurance to all our packages. If the post office is unable to locate your package we will refund you the full amount of the package and shipping or re-ship a new package to an alternate address. 

There is no guarantee on when military packages will arrive.   According to the Military Postal Service Agency, depending on where the service member is located, Priority Mail parcels to Afghanistan, Iraq and Kuwait normally take 10 to 15 days. Transit times will vary depending on operational conditions and the unit of the recipient.
