How do I place an advance order?
To schedule an advance order, please
select HOLD FOR FUTURE DELIVERY in the Shipping Preferences
box and simply enter your desired delivery date in
the Future Delivery Date box.
You may even add a date range such
as "November 18-20" or "the week of November 20". If
you'd like us to know additional information you may add
instructions in the SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS box during
checkout.
Can I ship to multiple addresses in one order?
Yes! At checkout, mark the white box that reads: Ship To
Multiple Addresses. If this box does not appear, you may
need to update the quantities in your cart (just click
Update Quantity).
How do I add my personal gift message?
When you view your shopping cart (the first step in the
checkout process) you have an option to add a gift tag
message for each Gift Pack you are
sending. To the right of each pack
listing you will see a button with the words: Gift Tag
Message in red. Click this button, enter your message, then select
continue to save the messages and continue checking out. Add
On Items are not eligible for
individual gift messages because they are included within
Packs.
How do I check the status of an order?
Click on YOUR ACCOUNT at the top
left hand side
of any page. Log into your account using your email address
and password (if you don't remember your password we'll
email it to you right away). Then select View Order Status
and History. On this page you will see an option to track
your packages.
Why don't I see any tracking information in my Order
Status?
Tracking information is entered into your account by
end-of-the-day the date your Pack
is shipped. Packs usually ship
within one business day. Orders received after
12 pm MST are
shipped the following business day.
When should I send a Beyond Bookmarks
Gift Pack to my college student?
Beyond Bookmark's College Care Packs support and motivate a
student at any time of the year. Particularly stressful
times of the year include the first week of school
(homesickness!), mid-semester exams, final exams, and family
holidays and birthdays spent away from home. Packs are also
great for celebrations…completion of a big project or paper,
acing an exam, winning an award, and, of course, graduation!
Do you have a healthy college care package?
Yes!
Brain and Grain is filled with healthy snacks, gourmet
treats, and toys that make you go “ahhhh.”
Why do I have to choose an
AFFILIATION when adding an item to my cart?
We have partnered with several
colleges, summer camps and other organizations to spread the
word about our service and products. If you heard
about us via one of these affiliations or your child /
student attends one of these colleges or camps, we hope that
you will select them from the list so that we may give a
portion of the proceeds from your order to that affiliate.
Otherwise, please select NONE.
What if my student's school / my
child's camp is not listed as an AFFILIATION? We
ship to any / all addresses within the United States.
Your student's college or child's camp does not have to be
listed in order for us to ship to them. If none of the
affiliations listed apply to you / your order please select
the option NONE.
I have an INTERNATIONAL BILLING
ADDRESS. Your system only allows me to select the
United States as my country. How do I place an order? If you have an international billing address but are
shipping to a recipient within the United States, please
select "PHONE/FAX" as your payment method (instead of CREDIT
CARD). Fill out as much information as possible.
We will contact you for any additional information required
and charge your credit card manually. As an
alternative, you may phone in your order M-F from 9-5pm MST:
915-875-0444 / 866-746-5133.
Do you ship to hospitals? Yes,
usually packages are received at an information or welcoming
desk in the hospital or in the hospital's mail room.
Direct delivery to the room is determined by hospital
policy. Because most hospital stays are short, it is
often helpful to make the hospital staff or a friend/family
member aware of the pending shipment so that packages do not
sit in the hospital mail room after a patient has left the
hospital. You may track the shipping status of your
order by logging in to your account.
Do you substitute items for people with special needs
like diabetics?
We are happy to accommodate
special needs (diabetic, non dairy, wheat free, etc.) to the
best of our ability. We cannot guarantee that all items
included in the pack will be suitable for your
recipient’s special needs (but
we’ll try!). We will need some extra time to gather the
goods. Please order in advance.
How long will it take for the Pack
to be delivered?
Our Gift Packs usually ship within
one business day. Orders received after 12pm
MST are shipped
the following business day. There are several shipping
options to choose from to insure your
Gift Pack gets there on time.

Military Specific FAQ's
How do I enter military addresses for shipping?
Enter the recipient's full name and address in the relevant
fields. Enter APO or FPO in the City field. Select Armed
Forces Other Areas (AE) for the State field if the recipient
is stationed in Europe, Canada, Africa, or the Middle East.
Select Armed Forces America (AA) if the recipient is
stationed in the Americas. Select Armed Forces Pacific (AP)
if the recipient is stationed in Asia or the Pacific.
Regardless of where the recipient is stationed, select
United States from the Country drop-down menu. All shipments
to APO/FPO addresses are sent US Priority Mail. Please
select USPS as your carrier, and Priority Mail as your
shipping method.
How long will a military package
take to arrive? According to the Military Postal
Service Agency, depending on where the service member is
located, Priority Mail parcels to Afghanistan, Iraq and
Kuwait normally take 10 to 15 days. Transit times will
vary depending on operational conditions and the unit of the
recipient. For Holiday packages, it is usually
recommended that you ship by the first week in December.
I sent a military pack that hasn't
been received. How do I track it? USPS does
not provide immediate tracking options for packages shipped
to APO/FPO addresses. USPS will track military
packages upon request. We will be happy to initiate
this request on your behalf. It will take the post
office a minimum of two weeks (but more likely four weeks)
for a reply. We add insurance to all our packages.
If the post office is unable to locate your package we will
refund you the full amount of the package and shipping or
re-ship a new package to an alternate address.
I sent a package to someone in the
military, but their unit has changed locations. Will
they receive their package? All military units are
assigned an APO or FPO zip code and in many cases that zip
code travels with the unit. The Postal Service places
APO/FPO mail on special charter flights, commercial
airlines, and military service aircraft at military and U.S.
airports. When planes arrive overseas, the mail is
tendered to the military and transported via local Military
transportation to delivery points. The time to deliver
varies depending on the category of mail and the country of
destination. According to the Military Postal Service
Agency (MPSA), depending on where the service member is
located, letters and Priority Mail parcels to Afghanistan,
Iraq, and Kuwait normally take 10 to 15 days.
I'd like to send a Patriot Pack to
a soldier. Can you provide me with a name and address?
We've partnered with
eMail Our
Military to provide our SOLDIER SERVICE for those
who'd like to send a Patriot Pack to an unknown soldier
overseas. eMail Our Military has a confidential list
of soldiers currently serving in Iraq and Afghanistan who
could use a little love from home. Just order the
package you want to send and we'll take care of the rest.
Here's how:
1) Add the Patriot Pack you'd like to
send to your shopping cart and select
SOLDIER SERVICE from the drop down
menu.
2) Add any ADD ON ITEMS you'd like to
include to your shopping cart.
3) Click CHECKOUT and add your GIFT TAG
MESSAGE using the button to the right of
your Patriot Pack that reads ADD GIFT
TAG MESSAGE.
4) Continue checkout as normal, but
enter YOUR
ADDRESS as the SHIPPING ADDRESS.
We will change this to the APO/FPO
address of a soldier provided by eMail
Our Military.
