Beyond Bookmarks Donates Graduation Gifts for Chicago Area Teens

On May 26th, 100 of Chicago’s graduating seniors will receive Beyond Bookmarks’ high school graduation gift package, THE FRESHMAN SURVIVAL KIT, at The Boys & Girls Club of Chicago Senior Celebration taking place at the Chicago Marriott Hotel. The Boys & Girls Club honors the extraordinary achievement of their senior graduates at this special event, and Beyond Bookmarks is proud to be a part of the celebration.

(Boerne, TX) May 25, 2006 -- Through a serendipitous partnership with The Boys & Girls Club of Chicago, Beyond Bookmarks will donate graduation gifts to 100 high school graduates. In February of 2006 the online gift company was researching organizations in which to get involved when The Boys & Girls Club of Chicago contacted them to request a discount on graduation gifts for their Senior Celebration in May. President, Christy Moore says, “it was perfect timing. We are approached daily with donation requests from all over the country. Our gift packages work well for silent auctions and raffles and we enjoy helping various organizations in a small way. But we were looking for a more focused way to contribute to our community. We wanted to identify an organization with which we could connect and make a larger contribution over time. That’s when we got a call from The Boys & Girls Club.”
